Young Magpies Get The First Team Experience

March 9th, 2013

On-call recruitment helped the Notts County youth team to experience the same away-day luxuries as the first team squad, ahead of their Midlands Youth Cup Semi-Final.

Academy sponsors On-call recruitment hired the first team bus for the fixture which saw the young Magpies take on Shrewsbury Town youth team.

Youth team coach Brett Adams thanked On-call Managing Director Adrian Rawden for his continued support of the Academy noting: “As a department, we’ve got a fantastic relationship with Adrian and On-call.

“He’s very much about the youth players and wants to help out in any way that he can to see this club progress.”

The Notts County youth team – sponsored of course by On-call recruitment – won the game 2-1 in extra time. Goals from Anthony Dwaer and Romello Nangle saw the young ‘Pies come from behind to clinch their place in the final of the Midlands Youth Cup.

The final, against Walsall at the Bescot Stadium, will take place on Friday, April 26th with a 7pm kick-off. Everyone at On-call recruitment wishes the Notts County players and coaching staff all the very best for their big occasion.
